    Just a few days before the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Portuguese Partner of Lights4Violence, ISMAI/Maiêutica, held the Intervention on Intimate Gender Violence Conference. The event has joined governmental and non-governmental entities, national experts, researchers, professionals and students, promoting a critical space of share and debate.

    Part of the Portuguese team of Lights4Violence got together in order to schedule the sessions with students, with focus on the script construction and filming. The multimedia experts presented some major ideas to develop the intervention in the experimental school, which were received with high enthusiasm.

    In Portugal, teachers training occurred in past 12th and 14th of November in the intervention school, with the presence of 8 elements. The group overcame all the expectations with much enthusiasm in the development of all tasks, as well as the sharing and critical reflexion spirit that was created.

    The team of the Institute of Health “Carlos III” has developed a process evaluation form, based on literature review and adapted to the needs of the Light4Violence project. The form was revised by several partners and uploaded in Survey Monkey, to be completed by all. It includes questions about each intervention session, focusing on number of participants, materials and resources used, participants satisfaction. To be more comprehensive, questions are answered in a mixed format, some using a Likert-type response scale and others as short answers.

    The Portuguese team presented the Lights4Violence Project in the 5th International Symposium about Fusions in Cinema, held in S. João da Madeira, last 24th november. The event was integrated in the program of the festival Roots of Portuguese Cinema.

    El pasado domingo, 30 de septiembre, el equipo de la Universidad de Alicante fue invitado a asistir al evento “Espai de somnis”, organizado por la Fundación Don Bosco por motivo de su 30º aniversario, celebrado en el teatro Martín i Soler, en el Palau de les Arts i les Ciències de Valencia. Mª Carmen Davó, Natalia Albaladejo y Vanesa Pérez asistieron en representación del equipo, y dieron a conocer el proyecto Lights4Violence al voluntariado de esta fundación, dando un paso más en la difusión del proyecto, de forma que se puedan extender las redes también a otros colectivos.
